Prince Kaybee Sparks Outrage for Insulting Kaizer Chiefs After Nedbank Cup Win.

Prince Kaybee has landed himself in hot water after criticizing Kaizer Chiefs following their recent Nedbank Cup triumph against Orlando Pirates. The DJ and music producer, a well-known Orlando Pirates supporter, did not hold back on social media, calling Kaizer Chiefs the “worst team in football history.”

The outspoken artist took to his X account on Saturday, 10 May, to voice his frustration after Orlando Pirates suffered a 2-1 defeat to their Soweto rivals, Amakhosi. Despite Chiefs’ victory, Kaybee was unimpressed, tweeting:

“Lol, I can’t believe we lost against the worst team in football history.”

Unsurprisingly, his remarks didn’t sit well with Kaizer Chiefs supporters, who quickly clapped back with scathing responses.

PRINCE KAYBEE DRAGGED ON SOCIAL MEDIA
Prince Kaybee’s controversial tweet ignited a storm of reactions from Kaizer Chiefs fans who were quick to remind him of the team’s hard-fought victory.

One fan, @yangamessi, fired back:

“Take it with your chest after you disrespected Chiefs.”

Another user, @thabo_Veee, mocked Kaybee’s support for Orlando Pirates, saying:

“You always bet the losing horse.”

@SirDumile added a stinging comment, referencing Prince Kaybee’s recent music career struggles:

“Chiefs have broken the 10-year drought. Now we’re waiting on you to break your 10-year streak with no hits.”

KAYBEE UNDER FIRE FOR SUPPORTING THE ALL BLACKS OVER THE SPRINGBOKS

While Prince Kaybee has made it clear that he’s not a fan of Kaizer Chiefs, he has also faced criticism for his allegiance to New Zealand’s All Blacks over South Africa’s national rugby team, the Springboks.

Kaybee defended his choice, citing the All Blacks’ tactical gameplay and style of play as his reason for backing the team. He tweeted:

“I support the All Blacks because of their style of play, adaptive planning, and the sheer brilliance of ‘ball in hand’. The support they give the ball carrier is exceptional.”

However, his comments did not sit well with patriotic South Africans, many of whom accused him of being unpatriotic for not supporting the Springboks, especially after their recent Rugby World Cup victory.

Kaybee, however, stood firm, stating:

“I’m just not into kick rugby. Sorry if my preference offends you.”

Despite the backlash, the artist appears to be unapologetic, maintaining his support for the All Blacks and his loyalty to Orlando Pirates.
