Allegations Arise: Junior De Rocka Accused of Song Theft.
Junior De Rocka, also known as Junior Mzizi, finds himself embroiled in controversy as accusations of song theft surface against him. The emerging artist, Mabzar, real name Samkelo Gasa, alleges that De Rocka appropriated his song without due credit or consent.
In a recent development, Junior De Rocka and Gqom collective Elevatorz unveiled a new track titled “Abantu Abadala,” featuring Ngizwe Mchunu.
Mabzar voiced his dismay over the situation, asserting his ownership of the song and expressing shock at its release under Junior De Rocka’s name. He claims to have created “Abantu Abadala” on March 4th, 2024, with evidence and witnesses to support his claim. Mabzar further reveals his collaboration agreement with Elevatorz, intending to release the song under his record label, Blackholic Entertainment Cupcush Records.

Expressing betrayal by Elevatorz, Mabzar emphasizes his lack of involvement in the alterations made to the song, including changes in artwork and artist credits. Despite his efforts to halt the release, Mabzar’s pleas were disregarded, leading him to contemplate legal action.
This incident has shattered Mabzar’s trust in Elevatorz, whom he had hoped would complement his style. Feeling undervalued and misrepresented, Mabzar vows to pursue justice and assert his rightful ownership of “Abantu Abadala.”
