Chloe x Halle comes through with another masterpiece record tagged “Ungodly Hour“, the album’s title track.
Speaking with Pop Sugar in January 2020, the Atlanta natives elaborated on the collaboration and how their session with Disclosure sparked the song’s title:
The interview also revealed an alternate title idea from the session was “The Trouble With Angels.”
Despite their lifelong entanglement in the showbiz machine, Chloe and Halle are not your average child stars. Their music has never been tween-friendly chart-bait – instead, they emerged with a strain of sophisticated and elegant R&B that you’d have a hard time categorising as juvenilia
